2009-2010 Northeastern Pennsylvania Philharmonic League Officers
Membership
Annual dues are fifteen dollars and are collected for the year from July 1st to June 30th. Membership is not limited to orchestra subscribers
(but is encouraged. Officers and Board members must be subscribers.)
We are having a membership drive this year!
Members of the League also participate in some of the following activities:
I. Assist in Annual Subscription Drive and Annual campaign through telephone calls
II. Provide light refreshments to orchestra members during rehearsals –
nice way to meet members of the orchestra
III. Assist NEPA Board with on-going activities. Examples include:
A. 4th of July Celebration
B. Antique appraised show
C. Other events as requested
Twice a year, members are invited to a general meeting at a local club or restaurant. Officers are installed at the spring meeting. The fall
meeting centers on the upcoming fundraisers and the upcoming fall orchestral program. In addition, the newsletter “Bravo” updates
members at least once a year on League activities.
Trips
A yearly trip is planned for members to an interesting venue within the area. Past trips have visited the Cezan exhibit in Philadelphia,
toured behind the scenes at Lincoln Center in New York City, and visited the Ford Museum on the Delaware River.
